The team at Cquell set out to tackle dry, itchy skin with a cannabis sativa formula. While their product was innovative, they needed help bringing their brand to life visually. They came to us with initial branding and packaging concepts, but we identified several areas that needed improvement, particularly with their logo's readability and the packaging's visual system for future growth. Our first priority was developing a clear, strong wordmark that would stand out and appeal to a wide audience. After multiple iterations, we settled on a two-color design that allowed the "C" to be read individually without disrupting the word's flow. We also worked closely with the Cquell team to flesh out their brand assets, launch their website, and troubleshoot packaging issues. We are proud of the resulting design and hope it encourages more people to explore the benefits of cannabis in skincare.
